Maybe we should admit it.

We say we need happiness,
Then broke it's vessels.
When we're told to be strong,
We turn against them who care on us.
On point of being cool and kind,
We give our hearts to be set on anvils.
And then blame the fate, in tears.

Maybe we should admit it...
That we're responsible and accountable.
Responsible of scars on our hearts,
Accountable of tears on our cheeks.
Why we keep twisting chances,
And using anger to burn our roots?

Punishing kids for their parent's faults,
Avenging our exes fouls on our lovers,
We condemn the poor innocent...
Then say that we need happiness,
While all we do is to burn its bridges.
As we point fingers at everyone.

Maybe we should admit it...
That we're responsible and accountable.
