Ignored feelings

This one evening i stopped to greet him,
He passed by and was astonished by it.

Then he turned for a glimpse and Damn,
His face was teary in deep frustration.

Later he told me that you ignored him,
All of the kindness that's what you rendered?

I remembered him praising your stature,
While you're through your high school.

He did rejoice in your raw appearance,
Before outbreak of braids and makeups.

Then I learned that even strongest feeling,
Expires when they aren't fairly valued.
