Comparison bait

Truth is you're not small as you think,
you only looked through a wrong mirror.
comparison mirror magnified your desire,
And shrunk your everyday achievement .

Comparisons was not meant for you,
Look how your heart is never at ease,
You are exploiting yourself mercilessly,
All of this, that you may look like someone.

Your income isn't sufficient anymore,
Your relationship isn't working as well,
You became a diaspora to Family and friends,
All of this that you may look like someone.

But that someone has another vision,
This will always shift your horizon forever,
This sacrifice is to heavy to be given,
Because you're abstaining from yourself.

At the end of the day we all take our way,
So be soft with yourself and be grateful,
You can't heat the target you're not seeing,
And that's the trap set in comparison bait.
