Fight and faith

He said that he had to go!
The host understood it,
But the bride stifled.
She knew it was dangerous,
But he couldn't stay anyway,
For joshua called him,
To join the force against amaleks.

Love is undeniable, so hard,
When it is young and new.
Days were being count on fingers,
Before their marriage take place.
She couldn't think of him going,
Nor understand why he did.
But the nation was at war and
Every spear needed a carrying hand.

Light grew dim in tents,
Her torch was the last to loose light,
Sky was drama less as if all stars,
Journeyed in other galaxies.
But she took her heart,
For she believed in him.

Every sound was terrifying,
Hissing was so frightening.
Nightmares become so common,
But the scariest was that,
She would loose her faith,
Thing She didn't do or try.

She recalled her lover's promises,
Until she remembered that,
The LORD shall fight for her,
and she should hold her peace.
After she said amen,
she tucked herself in sheets!
and slept peacefully.
For the fight was there,
but her Bridegroom was on Guard.
