Diamond in shadows
Like plucking thorns
It hurts to realise that people
who means a world to you
Don't consider you even to be
A village in their universe.
You remember all the efforts,
You count sleepless nights,
Walks you made under dark clouds,
And splits you had in rainy tides
Following them, it sucks.
But it's not the end.
Because the hope of a believer,
Doesn't rely on reciprocations.
Truth is that, it takes a real eye
To see a diamond in the shadows.
Because it doesn't shine
The normal dazzles which
ordinary eye can see.
World isn't fair and
it is a jeopardised realm.
Mistakes are the only life's
teacher you can't escape.
But it is a blessing to meet
wrong People in first place
coz it lights a shade on how
you'll treat loyalties who are
Coming upon your way.
Like a fragrant flame,
Love is sweet but you won't know
the taste before tasting sourness
Of mischievous friend-like people.
Comparisons is a sure experience
Which enables us to know which
Stone to cast or build.
Don't let any shadowed soul,
fools you. Because,
Not every heart is cold,
Not every face is a disguise,
Not every tongue is a sword,
Not every friends are fiends.
Some water are not salty,
Some airs are still flesh,
Never loose your hope just
Wait for the real eye to realise
The diamond inside you.
